We did not really like the Venetian at first until we learned to get around in there. It’s much less confusing if you stay in the old tower—surely they have some fancy name for this tower but if you just ask for the old or original tower when you check in they will probably accommodate you. The casino is large but nice and the staff is friendly and service oriented. The rooms are all true suites and are quite comfortable and spacious. The products in the bath are nice too! Venetian is home to some of our favorite restaurants including The Grand Luxe Café, Valentino, and especially Thomas Keller’s Buchon.
If you’re interested in shows, check out the ever popular Blue Man Group and Phantom of the Opera. The Venetian is great for shoppers as well where one can spend the day strolling around the Grand Canal Shops or even partaking in a gondola ride ($15 for a 10 minute ride). Spa goddesses will surely take a visit to the famous Canyon Ranch which some say is the finest spa in town. Rooms start at $169 per night.
