3/11/10 The ladies just recently went on a 3 day gambling spree on the strip and at local casinos. It is disappointing how “tight’ the machines are in the last couple of years. We now find that we can do the same as far as sustaining our money and dreaming about winning on the strip or locally. If you have been playing machines here for a long time you know that the common belief was that “local” places were better at paying than on the strip. Actually, we played at 5 different casinos and did the best at the sports bar at Planet Hollywood. We like the multi denom, multi game machines and the bartenders are great. There is a slight, nagging worry that Harrah’s will change the machines now that they have taken over the property. Harrah’s doesn’t have multi game machines at the bar in any of their properties. We love sitting at the bar and socializing, but get tired of only playing video poker.
