Sparkling Summer Cocktail: Cognac Fizz

Ladies: here’s a great summer cocktail from my buddy Glen Tuttle at Total Wine here in Las Vegas.
Cognac Fizz
1 oz Cognac or good brandy
1/2 oz Cointreau or premium orange liqueur like Drillaud
1 oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Champagne or good sparkling wine

1 cup red wine
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
2 cinnamon sticks
peel of one orange
10-15 whole cloves used to pierce orange peel

3 shots Cognac
1 shot Chartreuse
1 & 1/2 shot sweetened lemon juice
1 dash Angostura bitters
Shake well with ice and strain into cocktail glasses

1/3 Green Chartreuse
1/3 Italian Vermouth
1 Dash Orange Bitters
