The Stratosphere is an economy choice on the far Northern end of the strip. If you stay here you might do so only if you access to a car because nothing is that close to walk to. The rooms are economy but the casino is fairly large and there are those rides and that huge tower. Many newbies figure that their hotel room will be at the top of that tower but nothing could be farther from the truth. However you can have dinner or a cocktail up there or just go up to take a look around for a fee of course. Rooms start at $49 per night.
