Conservatory and Gardens: This is a must see at least for all “new
bies” to Vegas. The Bellagio spends millions per year to maintain this huge display which changes with the season, the smell is amazing, go early in the morning (when no one is there) for some great photo opportunities, open 24 hours and FREE
Fountains of Bellagio: check out the number one tourist attraction in Vegas! Absolutely breathtaking! We never get tired of seeing these beautiful dancing fountains. Every ½ hour from 3-8pm and every 15 min from 8pm-12am Mon-Fri, every ½ hour from noon-8pm and every 15 min from 8pm-12am Sat-Sun, FREE (Hint: best place to watch the fountain show is on the terrace of the Fontana Lounge inside the Bellagio)
The Art of Richard MacDonald Presented by Cirque du Soleil: This artist is great, the sculptures of Cirque performers are outrageously good, we spotted the artist chatting with the visitors once, in the O theatre lobby, 10am-11pm Sun-Thurs, 10am-1am Fri-Sat, FREE

Sigfreid & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat: last we knew, the tiger display was FREE—but the tigers mostly hide or are asleep! The dolphin habitat offers a trainer for a day program where you can swim with the dolphins, call for hours and fees. Regular admission to the habitat is $15 adults, $10 children. 702-791-7188

Stratosphere
Observation Deck: hosts some of the best views of the entire Vegas Valley. If you have enough guts you can try the 3 crazy rides at the top of the Strat. But seriously, if you want to ride on the “Big Shot” with a skirt and no underwear on—there is a camera taking every rider’s picture and your skirt will be up in the air! That is a true story told to us by a wild woman—we didn’t do it! Open 10am-1am Sun-Thurs, 10am-2am Fri and Sat. Admission to the deck without rides is $9.95
Treasure Island
Sirens of TI: not as good as the original pirate show but the “sirens” do beat up the pirates! Shows are at 7, 8:30, 10, & 11:30 daily FREE

Grand Canal Shops Gondola Rides: yes, real gondola rides with a serenading gondolier, $16 per person, open 10am-10:45pm Sun-Thurs, 10am-11:45pm Fri-Sat.

Freemont Street
Fremont Street Experience: everyone has to see it once, unique, huge, lightshows set to energetic music. We think there may be 4 different shows to see. Starts at dusk and runs every hour until midnight, FREE
Hint: If you go to have a couple of drinks at the Center Stage Bar in the Plaza hotel you can catch the show from their big picture windows. You can also go for dinner and see a couple of shows. Warning: they will not let you make a reservation for a window seat over the phone. But, when you get there, the maitre d is looking for a tip, so if there is a seat available, you got it for a $10 bill most likely.
Hoover Dam: Ok, if you haven’t seen the dam, it’s pretty____amazing! The bridge that they are building next to it is completely awesome as well. You can park and just take a look around or you can actually take a tour that goes inside the dam itself. Some love it some think the tour is boring so we can’t say what it will mean to you. Hoover Dam is about a half hour drive from the strip.
Las Vegas Ultra Strip Tour: motor around famous landmarks with a bottle of champagne and get your picture taken under the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, call for hours and pricing, 702-438-5466
Maverick Helicopter: Feeling gutsy? We’ve gone the helicopter route and it’s really beautiful and exciting. Take an excursion to the Grand Canyon or just down the strip. Call for pricing and reservations, 702-261-0007, 866-644-8687
M&M’s World: If you hang out on the strip at all you notice everyone walking with shopping bags. By far, the most popular bag on or near the strip is the little, yellow, M&M one! We don’t know what’s going on at the M&M store, but it seems every woman who comes here needs to go there. There is a free 3-D movie and lots of M&Ms! Open 9am-11pm Sun-Thurs, 9am-midnight Fri-Sat, located south of Planet Hollywood on Las Vegas Blvd.
Presidential Limousine Pahrump Valley Wine Tour: It’s hard to believe there is a vineyards in the middle of the desert in Pahrump, but it’s true. Although the vineyards is small and almost symbolic (as the owners, as they explain in their tour, get most of their grapes imported.) the property and facility is charming and the wine is pretty good. Dinner is available in the small, but, cozy restaurant. Limo departure times are 10am, 11am, noon, and 3pm, fees start at $29 per person, 702-438-5466
