Harrah’s is another old timer on the strip but amazingly popular. The casino is a little dark and closed in but the rooms are nice and comfortable. In an older hotel, always remember to ask for the most newly renovated rooms. Harrah’s is home to one of our favorite restaurants on the strip—The Range. It’s an old style steak house with great food and a wonderful view of the strip. At night, be sure to check out the flare bartenders and Cook E Jarr at the outdoor party going on at the Carnival Court. Rooms start at $79 per night.

- Hint: If you want a big flare bartender show just for you and/or your gang at the Carnaval bar—it’s amazing what waving a $10 bill can do. We all even got a free shot.
